Mark believed in my vision for Whole Harvest Meats. He took a chance on me and helped me fill the gaps in my knowledge of running a business like this. He dove into every challenge I threw at him from make sausage without MSG or pre-made seasoning blends to the logistics of only stocking locally raised meats of the highest growing standards. He took his 40 years of knowledge, experience and expertise and adapted it to our mission. He never batted an eye at the limitations that mission placed on him.
Mark wasn't just an employee. He sacrificed his literal blood, sweat and sleepless nights to see this vision become a reality. He invested in me and our shared creation in any way he could.
He was committed to his hometown and his loss will reverberate through our community for years to come. His loss leaves a profound impact on us and our community.
